Our state is too reliant on property taxes, which hurts everyone from our seniors to first-time home buyers. SuAnn believes that our families should be able to achieve the American dream of owning a home without the financial burden of constant increases in property taxes. SuAnn will use her skills in financial management to create a system that lowers costs and works for our middle-class.

Whether it's life-saving prescription drugs or a hospital visit, our families should be able to afford the care they need to take care of their loved ones. Our Legislature needs to increase options for affordable senior and disability care. SuAnn will work to lower the cost of healthcare and stand up for our patients.

SuAnn has managed large-scale budgets and has the experience to ensure we keep as much money in the taxpayer's pockets as possible. Our government should be a good steward of taxpayer dollars and SuAnn will work to cut unnecessary spending to resolve our budget crisis.

SuAnn knows that we need to prepare our students for success and expand access to career and workforce development to provide them with valuable future skills. She believes that local schools know what works best for them, not overreaching mandates. SuAnn will always stand with our educators who make Papillion La Vista a model district.

Sarpy County is the fastest growing county in the entire state. That’s why SuAnn will work to attract and retain high paying jobs and invest in the infrastructure we need to expand economic opportunity. SuAnn will support our small business community and cut the bureaucracy that stalls innovation.

Wife to a life-long volunteer firefighter and paramedic, SuAnn deeply values the work that our first responders do everyday. SuAnn will stand with our service members who put their lives on the line and protect our community. She will make sure that our police, firefighters, and first responders always have the resources they need to serve.

In 2024, voters passed a number of ballot initiatives, only for the Legislature to diminish or try to block them altogether. It’s not the State’s job to overturn the intended will of the people. SuAnn will always protect our voice.
